Frédéric Guénin

Maître Frédéric Guénin - Avocat à la Cour - Paris

Information Technology and Intellectual Property

Frédéric began his professional career in a start-up company at the very beginning of the Internet (2000-2001). His operational task was to design a B2B marketplace, accessible in 5 languages through a sectoral portal. He also initiated the integration of a search engine based on the semantic analysis of the web. As the head of the company's legal department, he actively participated in fundraising, contract negotiations and acquired a feel for entrepreneurial projects.

Then, for more than a decade, Frédéric pursued his career in the Intellectual Property & Information Technology (IP/IT) departments of leading law firms: EY Société d’Avocats from 2002 to 2003; Pwc Société d’Avocats (formerly Landwell & Associates) from 2004 to 2012 where he held the position of Director.

Frédéric then joined the law firm Hoche Société d'Avocats, where he was counsel in the Intellectual Property & Information Technology (IP/IT) department.

In 2017, he founded Qualiens together with Quentin Fournier.

Frédéric has been a lecturer (IT Contract Law) at HEC and Mines ParisTech since 2005 and a lecturer (Innovation Law) at Paris I - Centre Michel Serres.
